Most days you work your ass off, come home and numb out a bit, go to bed, and then do it all over again.

You probably have a good job, a nice house, and a family. You also have a boatload of responsibilities.

The people around you can probably tell you’re more stressed and irritable than ever. But they may not realize how hard you are on yourself, or how little you’re actually enjoying the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

You’re not falling apart. You’re just not fully okay either. And that space in between is a rough place to live.

You may not know exactly what needs to change. You just know this can’t be it.

If you recognize yourself in any of this, this practice was built for men like you.

Our Approach

We’re a private-pay therapy practice focused specifically on men’s mental health. And we do one thing: we help men change their lives for the better. To accomplish that, we built a different kind of therapy practice.

We believe in doing better work with fewer people. We keep caseloads intentionally small so we can invest more time and energy into each client we work with.

We’re clinically trained therapists, but we’re also just regular guys who deal with a lot of the same pressures our clients do. We take the time to understand what’s really going on, but we’re problem-solvers at heart too. We believe therapy should lead to meaningful change, not just be an endless conversation.

Therapy That Fits Your Life

Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk & Talk Therapy is designed specifically for guys. We meet at Pony Pasture or Robious Landing and do therapy while we walk the trails.

For a lot of men, talking side by side while moving feels more natural than sitting across from someone in an office trying to figure out what to say next.

Virtual Therapy

We work with guys throughout Virginia through a secure online platform. Plenty of local guys simply prefer virtual therapy too. It can fit easily into your life whether you’re at work, in the car, or hiding out in the garage.

Phone Sessions

For some guys, it’s easier to say the hard thing over the phone. We get that. Other guys like to walk around their neighborhood or on a local trail while we talk. We do too.
